Our team of consultants listen carefully to the precise details of the problem and your goals, aspects of importance with respect to aftercare, carry out a careful, thorough examination and arrange appropriate investigations, mostly on site.

The nature of the problem will be explained, often using images and videos, to allow a detailed understanding. Individualised treatment options for your condition are explained including non-surgical treatment and if appropriate, the option of a surgical solution.

The team of consultants at Sussex Orthopaedic Clinic work closely with allied health professionals. We offer treatment, where appropriate, with sports physiotherapists, hydrotherapy, shockwave treatments, orthotics and braces.  Injection-based treatments of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), cortisone, and collagenase for some conditions including Dupytrens, a contracture of the fingers are available: allowing treatment without surgery for some patterns of this disease.

You, the patient, are the absolute focus of the Clinic. We work closely with fellow consultants to ensure you are seen by the best person for your condition. Your care is paramount to our team.  Our musculoskeletal radiologists provide CT guided injections for sciatica with an audited success rate of 80%, ultrasound evaluation and injections for tendon and other soft tissue injuries. We have onsite MRI, CT, Ultrasound, x-ray and DEXA scanning.

We offer detailed advice on preventative strategies for osteoarthritis, sports injuries with both training programmes and braces. Custom and off the shelf (Armour) leading DJO braces for anterior cruciate ligament injury prevention, protection and non-operative treatment can be advised and discussed by our knowledgeable team. We can advise on state of the art braces for patello-femoral pain- including the new amazing spider web brace, knee arthritis and ligament injury. We have expertise in muscle rehabilitation, strengthening, cryotherapy and prolotherapy.
